I believe that each of us is born with psychic abilities of some form or another, and that society and our culture bury those abilities under layers of disbelief. We can all find those abilities again if we try. How do you feel about this?
I have been uncovering my abilities little by little in the past few years. I find I am finally allowing myself to accept them. I look back to childhood and realize the abilities were there then. I don't think I ever repressed it, since I grew up in a home environment very accepting of the paranormal. I just think I never let it grow until now, I never looked at it other than being that weird thing I can do. As an adult I am teaching myself to open up and see what I can do now and what I had learned so long ago.
Hi Theresa. This is why I hold classes; to assist people on their path of discovery. We have it inside of us and just need some guidence in tending the gifts and allowing them to blossom from within.
I feel that this is very true. Humans only use a small percent of their brain power. The full extent and power of our minds is unknown, and I agree with you on the point that we are all born with the abilities to use them. Unfortunateley, we have not learned to harness this yet. But, as you said, if we try hard enough, we can slowly begin to let these power unfold.
